The LMG data group is an approved internal service provider of filemaker data systems within the NYCDOE. Our group sells customized data solutions which can be found within the FAMIS portal.

Funds used to purchase LMG data group solutions/ training services must be scheduled in galaxy as a 998 object code-- tax levy only.

Most solutions require three inputs:


A. LMG Custom Developed Software

Our data solutions are custom developed by Certified FileMaker Developers with the end use always in mind!

 

Your school may purchase LMG Data Group Solutions and Staff Development Sessions from the SKUs located on this PDF.

 

B. FileMaker Software

  FileMaker Software (NYSTL Software approved )

Note: You are required to purchase a site license (SLA) for fully data dissemination at your school.

 

"FileMaker Go" is purchased separately from the Apple I-Tunes web site.

 

C. Database Server ( Dedicated server to disseminate and back up your  data)

 FAMIS Approved Server / NYSTL Hardware approved

1. Dell_server.PNG  (most prefered and scaleable-- best option for back-ups and networking) 

2.  Apple Mac Mini Server 

 

Please call the LMG Data Group before orderling any server. 

 

Server options are highly dependent on your specifc need.

 

Summary: The LMG Data Group manages all technology integration and fully implements a data solution at your school. At the end of our deployment, your school recieves a "turnkey" solution, which your school owns for many years into the future. Additionally, when your school has new data needs, the LMG Data Group can be hired to further update your system to specification.
